I am having my surgery on Monday May 24th. It's 4 days away & I am really stressing about it. I have been shakey all week & on an emotional rollercoaster. I am having the usual (cysto/hydro/biopsy) for the 3rd time plus this time I am having my trigone area of my bladder lazered & am getting a Chlorpactin wash. I am scared because I posted a thread about this & nobody has even heard of this lazer deal - let alone had it. I wish that there was someone who has had this surgery that I could talk to. I only found one article on the internet about it, which is at this address if you want to read it: http://www.pslgroup.com/dg/28222.htm. I just wish that I knew what to expect & how recovery was & just everything. I am so scared & very upset with the fact that this is the 3rd surgery that I've had so far in 2004. Please pray that this surgery is the answer for me & also for strength to endure. I am hoping that this procedure helps with my pain considerably & that it may be an answer for all of us.

Good luck!!!!! :kissing:

I googled the ICN and this is the page of results for "laser". I have no idea if the results are related to what you'll be having done, but you could check:

Just remember --- it's totally normal to feel nervous before surgery. I have had 35 hydrodistentions and I'm still nervous every time. I have had some cautery done before during a hydro and I do think it helped me go longer between hydros.

Sending an encouraging hug,
Donna
