I'm new to the whole message board thing so i"ll give you a little background on me.I found out last May that I had IC. I'm a college student struggling with going to classes and keeping up on my work.Any suggestions that work to stay in good spirits? I've tried Elmiron,Celebrex, Elavil ,Interstim implant and PT for the pelvic floor. I'm very discouraged and I want my life back. I'm only 22 years old. My doc has brought up a new treatment with botox injections has anyone tried it or considering trying it?

As far as treatments go, different things work for different people but here you will gets lots of great information so you can make an informed decision about what you want to do.,

For me, I am off all meds besides pain pills and the ic diet. Seems like the less I do to my bladder the better I am.

If you go to the Message Boards main page that lists all the boards and scroll down, you'll see there is a Botox board there. People post there, so hopefully you'll find someone who can give you answers there :)
