Von Willebrand's, anyone have it?

I was wondering if anyone has VWD, and if so, what are your symptoms, how do you deal with it? I had some blood work done for it a few weeks ago as well as a bleeding time and have yet to hear from the doc. They took 5 vials of blood and did the bleeding time.

I always have very heavy periods, so my gyn thought of this, plus I bruise easily and when I get a cut or something I bleed for hours on end.
