I have 7 cats now and that's the only thing that gets me through the day! They are Tango, Maxwell,Calli, Orangie,Bobo, Mone, & Wrigley! All are my babies. When me and my boyfriend get in a fight he says we'll split the cats, I say i'll take you to court.I have no $ coming in no nothing,but i'll take him to court,that sounds funny. Since i've been home sick w/ic I taught one cat to catch food. He catches food in his mouth when you throw it!Pretty cool trick, you know I have alot of time on my hands! Everyone who comes over has to either see the trick or throw something for Orangie to catch, of course he's a big cat! Tango sleeps on my chest on the couch. She seems to know when I don't feel well, and she also licks my tears when I'm crying, she's the very 1st cat I ever had.She's about 7 now. I would write more about the others but my hands fell asleep.

Your story about your kitty catching food is delightful! One on my cats (I have 3) stands on her back 2 paws and moves her paws up and down in the air- it is really rather strange. It's her way of saying, "LOVE ME, D@mn YOU!!"

I think the kitties seem to know when we are hurting and try to comfort us. At least I like to think so. :)

Hi and welcome, another cat lover here, I really believe our cats know when we are hurting and try to comfort us. I always had a lot of cats, but now down to one, who is like having more than one around, keeps us amused constantly, he is part Siamese and into everything imaginable. i have two grown cats one male i love but never see he runs the woods around here LOL and my other cat her name is baby and she is so sweet when i got her she was five weeks old and wild but now she is my love and one of my children she doesnt do any special tricks and she is just a reg cat but she always seems to know when i need some loving when i'm at the computer she is in my lap she seeks in the bed with me when hubby isnt around LOL she is slick she crawls on my chest and licks me she had four kittens that i love dearly too and one is just like her loveing wise when her kitten was a day old there was another kitten three weeks old a neighbor had and was going to kill it mean old man anyway my husband brung her here and my baby took it and raised it with her other kittens i can't find the heart to give them away so i keep them all and love them just the same.
we also have four dogs i like them too but nothing takes the place of my cats i had to put them outside because of all the litter and my husband ashtma but baby still stays in. and one of her kittens i love so much comes in when hubby at work.
if he can have his game chickens i can have my cats LOL.

Yes, the other day I had a migraine headache. My cat, Abiu, seemed to know something was wrong, so she "washed" my arm for a long time, gave me an earnest look, then settled down to sleep with her paws wrapped around my leg.

The other thing she does that's terribly cute, is I have a wicker chair filled up with teddy bears. She curls up to sleep with the bears & snuggles right into them... I wonder if that's how Spielberg got the idea to put ET in the closet with the stuffed animals!

I am in the bedroom on the computer and my 2 cats are here with me. Where ever I go in the house, 1 or them or both will follow me. I love them so much!
