frustrated

I took my 15 m/o son for his wellness check-up today and I was so embarrassed. The doc said my son was doing great 90% for his age but then he said mom looks horrible, ... so then he thought it was my son, I had to go into this long story about IC, not having insurance until June and that I had a uro appointment on the 14th of june, so for now I am just having to work through the pain and loss of sleep.
I felt like the WORST mom, I could hardly pick up my son to put him on the table, then had to pee 3 times during his appointment, I felt so horrible!!!! And my son was such a little trooper, poor guy got 2 shot and cried only for about 30 seconds. I just wanted to get home so I could cry for the both of us!!!! Thank God I don't have to go back for 3 months!!!! hopefully I will be my normal self by then!!!!!

i have always cried when my children got there shots too but being stress with ic don't help much i do understand that too.
try to relax while he is relaxing take some time to your self when hubby gets home maybe a good hot shower or a nap i know that is hard to do with children but hopefully hubby will help you.

Oh, Alexis!! I am sorry to hear about your rude pediatrition. Seriously, WHAT was he thinking mentioning that you looked bad??? I hope that after you explained, he felt awful. Did he at least stay in the room with your son while you peed?
