Anyone still have endo pain after a hysterectomy??

I am possitive this pain isn't surgery pain....it is down my leg and but like the endo was. Is this definatly nerve pain that will probably always be there?

What does anyone here know about it?

Hi Katrina,

I had a complete hysterectomy in 1997 and in 2000 I had another surgery for endo. I was soooooo upset that I still had it even after my hysterectomy! I was only 27 years old and had already had 17 surgeries for endo and thought all my problems were over after the hysterectomy...NOT! The endo had attached my vagina wall to my bowls.

When I first started having problems with IC, I thought it was the endo again. But after my uro did a cysto, he told me I had IC.

Sorry you are going through so much pain. IC with endo.....not a nice combination!

thank you so much for your reply.....I can't do multiple surgeries...I have to beg for doc's to go in there because of my pouch....how it the world do I treat endo pain beside surgeries at this point????? Probably by begging again....well atleast I have the pain pills.
