So as a newbie here can some of you tell me what these common drugs do for your IC? I'm only on vesicare so far which has stopped the bladder spasms.
I am very concerned about additional dryness that I'm afraid these drugs will cause as I have chronic dry eye syndrome to boot. The vesicare is drying enough as is!

I have used these both and yes unfortunately they can cause dry mouth and weight gain. elavil also can cause urinary retention.

Does anyone get extra thirsty when you have a flare?
