What kind of symptoms do you have if your nerves in your pelvic area are causing you problems? I have pressure 24 hrs a day feels like something is pressing into my urethral area, no prolapse, it causes some degree of pain. I have an all over nerve problem and do not know the root cause, doc says it may be my fibromyalgia, but I have tingling, burning, pins & needles sensations, sharp shooting pains, spasms, tightness, and when it gets really bad all over, I feel the pressure pain in my pelvic area increase big time. With it not going away, I wonder if it's a nerve issue just worsening the problem and the IC causing the chronic pain. I have had 2 bladder repairs, partial hysterectomy, retrocele repair, bladder biopsies. Plenty of surgeries, so one could have caused nerve damage, right? So a urologist can treat this? I'm calling my dr later today and seeing if I can get in to see her this month. Last time I saw her, I was put on OAB medication, treatment of IC diet, drinking plenty of water, tums, I also gave up smoking, but none of that has helped.

Have you tried physical therapy? I see 2 seperate people. One person deals with the muscles and how the get tensed up because of my IC/vulvodynia and the other lady does biofeedback. This is the only thing that helps me!
