HI

My doctors didn't diagnose me with IC.
They keep saying i have UTI that keeps coming back so far this year i had 7 UTI according to my doctors!!!!!!

I even did the cystocopy and the doctor said my bladder wall is white .

I kept on having the urgency and bladder pain during the night specially. Sometimes I cannot sleep. The doctors put me on antibiotics for a while but at that time the pain was still there. It didn't go away.

SO I tried the IC diet. I thought it will not hurt to try. To my surprise it helped the pain to decrease and at least i was able to sleep a full night.

Now I'm pregnant . I was still on that diet and things were Ok till the day before yesterday I ate some tomatoes and cherries in the same day. It didn't hurt the night i ate those food but last night which is a day after i ate those foods I couldn't not sleep from my bladder and it hurts now as i'm typing this message.

I wonder what is happening with me do i have IC or i don't ? the doctors don't seem to thihnk so. It's confusing and frustrating not to know what to do.

I'm wondering what if i use prelief with some of the problem food maybe it will help me eat everything I need for myself and the baby i'm carrying.

My question does anyone know if prelief is ok when pregnant?

Thanks

Nadia

Prelief should be completely safe when pregnant...I had a friend that asked her doc...her doc gave her the go ahaed with prelief.

was you cystoscopy a hydro one...done under anesia? If not it doesn't prove you don't have IC....it needs to be a hydro cysto to prove IC.

Anyway sounds to me like you need a diff doctor.

I hope this helps you.

Thanks katrina you had encouraging news for me in your reply.
I' ll ask my OBGY just to make sure he knows what i'm doing.
I can't wait to start on prelief and hopefully have some pain relief.

I'm thinking of changing my urologist as soon as I have my baby, meanwhile I will continue with the diet and prelief.

Thanks again,

Nadia

hi there,

I used prelief throughout my whole pregnancy and I just delivered a healthy baby girl 11days ago. I called the company and checked with my doctor ,both said it was okay, but that you should always be catious of anything taken during pregnancy.

Hope that helps and best of wished to you!!!

Prelief is not a medicine. What it does is to neutralize the acid to a degree in what you eat. For it to be effective, it needs to be taken immediately before the food is eaten. I keep a bottle on my kitchen table so I can take it with a meal.
