I've been looking into Ester-C supplements, since of course we can't tolerate regular vitamin C supplements with ascorbic acid. But I have noticed they all have citrus bioflavonoids in them. I read up on this and I guess they have to add those to it to make it more the absorption of it better. But I don't think I can tolerate anything with citrus in it. Have any of you seen a brand without citrus bioflavonoids in it? What type can you tolerate?

Thank you!

I don't have problems w/it . I was concerned about the citrus bioflavinoids too. If you'd like the name of the chain drugstore, PM me. It will just get edited off ......

I only tried one brand and I don't know what kind of ingredients it contained but it was Ester C and it flared me. I actually have better luck with a small glass of orange juice every few days. I figure I don't need super high amounts of vit c anyway and eating dark leafy greens is another great source that doesn't cause flares.
