Prestique-help!

Has anyone taking prestique had problems with constipation and insomnia? I've been taking it for a little over a week now and find it very unbearable to live with these side affects. I switched to Prestique because I was experiecing sexual side affects from taking Celexa. Does anyone know of an antidepressant that does not have sexual side affects? I can bear the constipation but the insomnia is horrible. HELP! :confused:

Pristiq is the only antidepressant that doesn't hurt my IC. BUT - it does cause terrible gastro intestinal problems (people actually hear my tummy making unbelievable noises! - it's embarrassing!!!) So, I don't know what to do.

All the others made my IC pain terrible. The worst for me was Lexapro - which I loved how it made me feel, but even my urologist said she sees more women complain of IC problems (retention, pain, urgency, frequency, etc.) on Lexapro.

Elavil caused me terrible retention - even at super low doses.

I think all the other SSRIs and SNRIs were the same.

I guess it's just trial and error for everyone. Keep trying different meds.

I tried paxil it was horrible, the good wes is there are alot of anti depresants maybe wellbutrin will work for you.:angel:
