Can most people drink apple juice and apple cider? It would be at least one holiday drink if we can... I have learned to drink my blueberry juice in a wine glass and it makes me feel a little better. I'm really curious about apple cider. Thanks!

I think that is one of those maybe foods...........I can't drink it, but then again, I don't like it much anyway. Others seem to do fine and like you said, it gives them something to drink.
I am curious to see how others respond......... :-)

I can have it if I limit how much I drink. One glass/cup is my limit.

I can drink apple juice. i water it down a bit. I tried cider and started to feel a little irritated.
Hi,
When my IC has been more symptomatic, I can't do apple juice or cider at all. I'm doing very well right now and don't seem to have any problem. I noticed that R.W. Knudsen makes a pear juice cider and was wondering how friendly that might be for IC patients....any tried this?

I can do both apple juice and cider as long as I water it down a little and limit myself to a small amount.
Knudsens pear juice I tried many months ago, can't remember how I did with it, so I am sorry, not much help.
Hi,
The Knudsen Pear Juice itself seems fairly mild. Only a small amount of Vit. C is put in to retain color. I have never had any problem with it:-) They also make a pear cider though which I thought would have been nice to have around for my daugher on holidays...

ouch my bladder hurts just thinking about it. I don't do apples very well. Even the safe apples give me trouble. I can only eat very small amounts.
