Today Was The Day!!!

I finally had my cysto/hydro and bladder biopsy this afternoon. I spent all morning and most of the afternoon just waiting to be taken into surgery! :headbang: When I was taken back to the outpatient area, the doctor didn't tell me all that much. Just that when the bladder was distended, some redness was visible but that was about it. He won't know anything else until after the tissue samples are examined.

So far I feel like I'm in a flare with that inflammed feeling inside and when I urinate, my whole bladder gets sore and it feels like I'm peeing razor blades! :yikes: Now I know what true bladder pain is like! I'm to see the doctor in about a week to find out what should be done next.

Thanks to all of my IC buddies out there for all your advice, thoughts and prayers. May all of us eventually find the help we need and get better!

[Hangin' Tough]

I just had my first hydro on Monday, today I can finally feel an improvement when I urinate. I think it might help with the frequency but, it only made my pain worse. My uro didn't tell me much either. He just said "well I stretched the hell out of it". The miracle of medical terminology.
