Hi everyone, I haven't been here in awhile due to many factors, but after the last relapse and moving new part of the world, I thought it would take forever to get a specialist AND have the surgery yet again...but I was pleasantly surprised! I saw a wonderful team of doctors quickly and had my surgery last week....I'm so hoping that I'll get another 4 plus years of relief this time.
I am trying to ease off the ami-tri but have decided to stay on the natural support and continue to follow the IC diet.

I am hoping so, also, for you.

I did not read about the type of surgery. Anyhow, I have not been in remission so far. It has got to be nice. IC truly sucks. Yep!

@statesboro: so sorry I didn't post the type of surgery...Is was a hydrodistenion and scrape surgery. I had it done about 5 years ago and was in remission for 4 years until I relapsed....So far, I don't feel 100% but I'm getting better each day....
I've been living with IC for 15 years, yet it only got diagnosed 6 years ago. I've tried lots ofthings, some work and some don't...it seems everyone has their own form of therapy that works...I truely hope that you find your therapy that allows you to have some relief from this awful condition.

Hi Alyonesse! What wonderful news! Where did you move to? Have you thought of letting Jill know who your doctor is so she can see about adding it to her list of providers on the website?
Crossing my fingers, praying, and hoping this will help you for a long time!
