... if no relief is gotten by my friend from her i.c. symptomology of burning perineum, knife-like bladder spasms, pressure and urinary frequency, what would be the most likely treatment for her then. she's currently in a long, long and horendous (obviously) flare, and she doesn't want to talk about it and i don't even want to ask her as she is "toughing it out" pretty much on her own. she had her 5th treatment yesterday and so far no improvement althought the series has brought her relief in the past. i got that much out of her. she has also had elmiron and amitriptylin and antibiotic therapy at various times too any insight anyone has re this is appreciated. i'm really worried about her as she is very far from the outgoing fun-loving person i knew before this hit her, and i can well understand why after reading some of the posts on this very informative site. thanks in advance for your help.
