Since this an off topic area, I had to share this with someone!
I have a little 5 lb Yorkie, Sadie, who is my absolute love, joy and total companion on this crazy journey I'm on. Sadie is TERRIFIED of loud noises, such as thunder and lightening. Yesterday we had a big thunderstorm roll thru. I heard the thunder before she did, so I quickly got her "thunder drugs/doggie downers" that the vet gave us and shoved a pill down her little throat. Luckily, she slept thru the worst of the storm and when she woke up later she was very thirsty (med side effect). She wobbled down off the bed, went to the bathroom to get a drink and the next thing I heard was what sounded like coughing/choking!! I went to check on her, and her little head was completely soaked!! It seems as though while getting her drink she got a little bit off balance and fell head first in her water bowl!!! She's absolutely ok but my husband and I couldn't stop laughing!! Now we've decided she has a drinking problem, lol!!!
I hope everybody has something to laugh about today!!!

Hi, Katie ~ Pets sure can put a smile on our faces at times.....one day our lab got one of those huge pretzel jars stuck on her head and it was hilarious, but we were so scared had we not been home that she would have suffocated.

I can just see your drenched Yorkie....both my daughters have one....they're darling.

Thanks for the smile.

Silly pup! :)

I miss my dog (had to put her down this past August at age 15.5). We got her when she was 6 weeks old and she provided us with lots of laughs. We also had one of her pups that unfortunately passed away back in '03--he too was quite the funny dog. We now have a cat and a cockatiel--they provide us with a laugh a day at least. The cat is guaranteed to fall off the window sill once per day, and the bird, well, she's funny all the time.

Gotta love the animals!

I have to give my jack russell some bendyral(?) liquid with warm milk! this is very tricky for me as if its 1 or 2 in the morning then I am half asleep and she might get too much bendyral! then she wobbles around and I worry about her.
Yes, I do get up sometimes at this time if I don't she will continue to stand on me and scratch me till I can't take it anymore. My other dog that I had she was a Alaskan Husky/rat terrier (I know what a combination)! she would get her head stuck in the box of dog buscuits while this one won't even think about it (too much of a laldy even if she is hungry)

That was very funny. I bet she tried to act like nothing happened - that's what my dog would have done.

Yeah, it's funny how they can do that! Does Sadie become upset when you laugh at her? My dog doesn't seem to appreciate it.

Here's another one, we usually have eggs on the weekend the first weekend that we had Emzy (Jack Russell) she took her time eating her eggs, but the other dog (now deceased) would gobble her up and then look at Emzy's bowl and eat hers too!. Needless to say, after that she is hot on the trail for her treat. In fact this past weekend, I called my family to breakfast and the dog was the first one up (i swear that she left skidmarks on my floor!!)

Vicki, Sadie is 5 and she's the 1st small dog we ever had. We like to say "Small head, small brain"!! So when we laugh at her she gets excited and thinks that something great is about to happen!! Which just makes it funnier!!
