I read so many posts and what works for one person does not for the next. I can only say what got me to remission after a horrible 3 month flair. I had several rescue installations and nothing was helping. So after reading some posts on here - I talked to my doctor about trying Lyrica, just 25 mgs also she had me add Acid Zapper to alkalize my urine.
After only two weeks all the pain is gone. I still watch my diet like crazy, but I was getting so desperate I would have tried voodoo lol. It was reading here that helped me get though this by knowing I am not alone.
I used to take Elavil for years, but developed racing heart rate from that. I don't know how long this will work, but it is sure nice to feel hopeful again.
Peace

Hi wenben,
That is great! it is always so great to hear when someone finds relief from this condition. It is almost like a vacation when feel better after suffering a long time. I hope it lasts and lasts and lasts.

Thanks for the good wishes Mike. After reading all you have been through, I can really relate. The pain sometimes is overwhelming. I would just sit any cry with no hope.
We just keep trying till something work. Living with this for 15 years - I will never get used to the pain. Most docs do not know what to do....we must educate ourselves and find what helps. Very hard to do when in pain!
Here's wishing you and all pain free days and months.
Peace
