I realize I have yet to make an introductory post - I've been lurking here for awhile. I just have a med-specific question first...
My only symptom is frequency/urgency - I don't have pain, though the frequency/urgency is severe. I've been tentatively diagnosed with IC although it isn't confirmed yet because there is a possibility that my symptoms are being caused by scar tissue from endometriosis surgeries and/or alterations made to my pelvic cavity during these surgeries.
I started taking Enablex and Hyoscyamine last week, and ever since then I've been in the worst flare I've ever experienced. I've been taking my meds, been very strict on the IC diet, and haven't had sex in over a week; yet my symptoms are worse than they've EVER been.
In a 5-hour period on Monday, I peed 120 times. Even my urologist says this is exceptionally severe. It's been at that level since Sunday, and I am feeling so hopeless and discouraged and scared.
Nothing else has changed besides the meds, so could that have caused it?? I can't imagine what else could've triggered this.
