Having IC is hard, obviously if it wasn't, we wouldn't all be here. I was skeptical to come to the boards because my doctor said that I would be discouraged with the amount of pain people were having.

In the midst of a flare up a few weeks ago I shared my story. I was impressed, and very happy to have gotten alot of support from all of you.

I just wanted to thank you for that. Tomorrow is my birthday, and my friends and family got me the IC survival guide and cookbook, which I can only imagine will help me out even further.

Again, thank you for all that responded, as it meant, and still means so much to me, especially in these questionable times.

The cookbook is pretty cool... my hubby and I made stuff from there when we had some other couples over a few days ago, and they liked some of the stuff so much they left with copies of some of the recipes! They were shocked when they saw they came from a cookbook for people with a chronic disease :)
