Well,
Can't tell yet if the procedure did any good. Still peeing fire (sorry so descriptive) and still have abdominal pain. I am hoping this is just side effects from the procedure. Uro said he stretched the "hell" out of my bladder, now that is medical terminology. Said he didn't see any tumors or other abnormal stuff, just a typical IC bladder. I have a follow-up with the Pain Management Dr. tomorrow, which I was hoping to be able to cancel, no such luck. Uro said to come back in a month and tell him if it worked. If so, great. If not, back to the drawing board. I, like everyone else on this board, am tired of feeling like crap. Thanks for the thoughts and prayers. Still "Hangin' Tough".

Hi Steve,

I'm glad to hear you made it through your c/h relatively unscathed...and I hope the pain subsides quickly. After mine, I had some burning during urination and crampy abdominal pains for a few days, but it seemed to heal up pretty quick. I guess the best thing to do is rest!

I also hope you get some relief from your symptoms after the procedure.

Feel better soon!!

Steve, good luck with your flare, also with your pain management appointment. I had about a week's flare after my cysto, then my symptoms subsided a bit and I had some relief.

We are all so different, however. Does a heating pad with pain meds help your symptoms any?

Take care, Carla
