Well, hmmm, where do I begin. Umm... the surgery went very well as I don't remember a thing! That, to me, is the ultimately determinant. If I have no memory of it, I'm good. The first two days afterwards were actually fairly good.... thanks to a bit of vicodin. I didn't actually start "feeling it" until last Friday. The sockets don't hurt... it's just the whole mouth is very VERY tender. Kinda like vulvodynia of the mouth. I took the week off... and am working today but talking on the phone is so NOT fun! The holes look fine... just freaky and very gross feeling. Honestly, this post op is miserable.. but, put in the context of recovering from a hydrodistention, I'm not going to ask for too much pity here. It is what it is... life happens... and so does, sadly, dental work. LOL!!!
Thanks to everyone for your good wishes. I wish I could say that I feel fantastic but, errr, that would be a NOOOO!!! I'm heading off for a little nap shortly!!!
:::sigh... whispering softly "This too shall pass! This too shall pass! ::::
Gah!!!
Jill "I'm glad I did it.. but did I really HAVE to do it during IC Awareness Month."
