Hi all,

I'm very lucky to have my IC under control for alot of the time. It takes a very strict diet for me. At times I get horrible flares, but manage to do pretty good in general.

My main concern right now is night time frequency. If I could just get a good night's sleep, I would be so happy! I usually have to get up six to eight times. This means that I never truly get a good night's sleep.

I had a cystoscopy today and my uroligist gave me some Toviaz samples to try. (4mg). Before I took them, I decided to check out what my fellow IC-ers thought of Toviaz.

I see some say it helped alot. Quite a few said it made it very hard to pee. like they had to squeeze it out practically. This sounds horrible.

Many that talked about Toviaz happened to mention it in passing while talking about other things. I would love for people who take it to give their opinion please.

If I get, for example, twenty answers and 17 liked it and 3 hated it, I probably would give it a try. If it is the opposite, chances are I will pass on it. I'm really looking for some night time relief. I thought that this would be my best shot for making a good decision.

As always, thanks everyone. I'm really looking forward to hearing from alot of you!!!

Sorry no responses. If you have the samples, why not given them a try. It's better to try and fail then to fail to try. What do you have to lose. Best case it works. Worse case it doesn't work or you have side effects. Side effects almost always stop when the medicine is stopped. Good luck.

I see so many people talking about Toviaz that I thought I would have tons of responses!!! Maybe I didn't put it in the right spot. If nobody else answers, maybe I will make the title more catchy and try it again.

thanks for your answer. I should just give it a try.

I tried Toviaz but didn't work for me. I use Enablex. It works the best for me so far. Thought of given Ditripan another try since it is generic.

I did great on this the first week, what happened, I don't know, maybe I need 2 a day instead of 1. Had no side effects. It controlled the pain & frequency but just all at once quit working.
