Spread the Word – 7 Easy Ways to Tell Your Friends
The goal of National Women's Health Week is to encourage women to take simple steps for a longer, healthier, and happier life. The Week runs from May 9-15, 2004, and kicks off with National Women's Check-Up Day on May 10, to encourage women to schedule an appointment with their doctor or other health care provider for an annual check-up and health screenings. Gaining support from as many women and groups as possible is crucial to the success of the Week. Help us spread the word using the tools below.
(1) Send Save-the-Date Electronic Post Cards
Encourage all the women you know and care about to participate in National Women's Check-Up Day and the President's Challenge. Send one or both of our save-the-date eCards to remind them to sign up.
(2) Send This Letter Asking Your Health Provider to Sign Up
The success of National Women's Check-Up Day depends largely on the involvement of health care providers. Encourage your health provider to participate by offering preventive health services to women on Check-Up Day, May 10, 2004, and throughout the week.
