What does xanax do for you bladder?

My Dr wants me to take xanax to relax because she thinks I'm psyching myself out when I try new meds. I also just opted out of having interstim which she thinks is a mistake. Is she trying to dope me up for surgery or will xanax help my bladder?

If the medication will help you relax, it absolutely could help with symptoms. I think it's worth a try at least. If you don't have confidence in your physician, you can always seek a second opinion. That doesn't mean you have to change doctors.
