This Flare Won't End

This the 3rd straight night of INSOMNIA. I called in sick yesterday and it looks like I will again today. I am almost out of sick leave and it's only May. I took long nap this afternoon after I went to Walgrens to buy some Depends. I slept about 2 1/2 hours and then it was peeing time. Since about 4:30pm I have gone to the bathroom 10 times and I changed my Depends 3 times. My bladder has gone completely haywire. I am 32 years old with a worn out bladder. I guess i need go to my uro and see if I have UTI. Well it is time to say goodnight.

Definitely call your doctor and get tested for a UTI. I hope you start feeling better VERY soon!!!!

Any time you have an increase in pain, it warrants a call to your doctor. I hope you are feeling better by now.

ouch, sorry to hear your flaring. I can relate, I have been in horrible pain for about 3 1/2 weeks and it seems it is only getting worse... You need to just run your symtoms past your doc just in case you do have an infection... don't wait until it spreads...

I have an appointment with my Uro later today. I still can't sleep.
I had a couple of naps yesterday. They were about 2 hours each. I am about to lose my freakin mind. I am taking the rest of the week off on vacaction so I don't run out of sick leave. This is a nightmare. I have a college graduation to go to on Sunday. I hope I'm better by then. Right now my bladder is throbbing so bad I don't know if I can wait until my 3:00 appointment. I may have to the ER for some pain meds.

So sorry you are suffering so much. U may want to ask your doc for a sleeping med if you have that much difficulty sleeping. Be careful...when Insomnia affects me terribly I end up with a lot of problems.

Thanx for the advice Katrina.I decided to take a Benadryl after I got home from the uro and I finally got some decent sleep. I fell asleep during the 6pm news and slept til midnight. This flare has turned my world upside down and once I get some relief I wiil be okay (I think) although I do tend to surf the net late at night anyway. That is how I found this site. It is time to say goodnight.

The initial test came back positive for a Uti so now maybe the pain will decrease ocne I get rid of the infection. Got some pain meds and I hope to feel better soon.
