So my symptoms have come down a lot more. The urgency has decreased significantly and during some parts of the day I almost forget that I have ic. I'm sticking to the diet and the elmiron but I'm wondering if I still need to complete the four installation treatments I have scheduled? I'm about to go to my second installation and I'm pretty sure its going to exacerbate my symptoms for a few days. Now I'm just wondering if I should go to all four?

If it were me,I would. It took 2 series of instills to get me to a pretty pain free place.I also take Imprimine 3 x a day. It's almost 1 1/2 years since I had a big flare.I do get some symptoms once in a while but forcing water and taking Urelle prevents it from going to a bad flare.

I am going in a couple of weeks for the 1st of 4 procedures. from my
experience I would say continue with the procedures. Last year I cancelled an
instillation because I felt really good and 2 days later I was crying on the phone
begging the doctors office for an appointment. I had to wait awhile.
For me the DMSO,HEPARIN treatments work well whether I have a flareup or not but I need them about every 4 to 6 months. That how long it seems to last for me. Good luck
