Hi,
I put this under depression and anxiety before and got no responses so I guess I'll try this one. I have lost 25 pounds in the last 3 months and I really don't want to lose anymore. I just do not have an appetite, plus I don't know which foods are good and bad for my bladder, I can't seem to figure it out. Anyways, I was wondering does anyone know if those Ensure drinks are OK for your bladder? I would really like to drinl them because I know I am not getting enough nutrition. Thanks for any input!!!

i'm not sure about those drinks sorry i have never dranked them or read them the way i think you can handle your diet will be make your own diary you can look on the homepage in order to give you some idea what to look out for.
i kept my own diary in order to find out my tiggers i dont have many trigers thanks the dear Lord and not everything on that list is a no no its just what people has reported that caused them to flare one thing i believe isn't on the list is fish but yet fish makes me flare.
good luck
sending you hugs and prayers

I haven't tried Ensure drinks.
But, my question would be "Do they have vitamins & minerals added which could set off the bladder?" I personally have to avoid stuff like that. If you try it, maybe drink a very small amount first, then next time a little more & see if your bladder likes it or yells at you and if the amount makes a difference

If you're trying to figure out a diet... You might try the ICN-3 column diet, start with the blandest stuff for a few weeks , then add foods one by one.

It took over a month on the diet to drop my daily level of pain, to where I could see if adding something provoked a flare. (I still have a base of symptoms, but it would be way way worse without the diet and my doctors & I aren't done with this yet!!!!).

Good luck, hope you find something that works.

When I had surgery for my TMJ, I lived on those drinks for two weeks. I tried Ensure, but preferred the taste of Boost. It did not bother my bladder at all.

Donna, I know you have been on the Atkins diet and I was wondering if you have tried the Atkins choc drinks and if they have bothered your bladder.

I tried just one sip of one Atkins chocolate shake --- that was enough for me --- maybe I'm strange, but I found the taste to be extremely vile! Nobody in my family could stand it. I ended up putting it in the garbage.
