IC flare with ulcer flare -- just me or anyone else?

My duodenal ulcer is flaring, which always makes my IC flare. My sleep has been horrible & I'm a walking zombie again. Does anyone else have their IC flare with an ulcer flare? I'm assuming it changes the pH of the urine or something & so irritates the bladder.

I think almost any illness can cause an IC flare. I hope it goes away quickly.

I made up a new theory that the ulcer allows stomach acid into the bloodstream, which gets filtered out by the kidneys & thus gets into the urine to irritate the bladder. Does anyone who actually knows about biology know if this could happen?
