View Full Version : Fresh Garlic!

Just curious if anyone else has a problem with fresh garlic? I sauteed it last night with olive oil and then cooked my chicken in it! I added fresh basil on top and just a little salt. It was delicious! Hubby and guest loved it too but I woke this morning with more pain.
I've been having lots different IC and PFD issues for the past 2 months and thought this would be a safe dinner there was no sauce or spices on it and I didn't eat the garlic gloves! I guess I was wrong. The fresh garlic flavors the chicken anyway and being in a flare right now makes it more sensitive!
I'm sure this is the reason and just want to know if others have this problem. I guess I should eliminate garlic completely....at least cook my piece of chicken COMPLETELY plain! Oh....I think salt has been irritating me too! Any thoughts????

I know garlic is safe for most people with IC, but it's a problem for me. It took a long time for me to find that out. :(

Taking it off my ingredients list for a while Donna. We'll see how it goes! Going easy on the salt too!
