:hi:Hello,
I am currently taking Elmiron (about 2 months... off for two weeks in the middle to try to slow hair loss) and also do rescue instillations, in addition to following the IC diet, but am still finding it hard to get relief (mainly mild to moderate pain and pressure). The last time I went to my uro's office, they told me to try Zyrtec and Tagamet. I see where people have tried Zyrtec (it does help knock me out at night. I get up about once a night to go to the bathroom), but not so much about Tagamet. Has anyone tried it and had success?
With the exception of Elmiron which I know takes longer to determine success, how long do you try different meds/therapies before you rule them a success or failure?
