Just a little bragging

I just wanted to brag on my kids a little. I have 2 of my own and my stepson also lives with us full time. His mom has no contact what so ever with him..anyway the 2 oldest are in the 4th grade and my son is in second. In Louisiana every spring the 4th and 8th graders are requried to take what is called a LEAP test. If they fail this test they do not pass on into the 5th grade and are requried to take summer school and re-test to see if when school starts back this fall if they can go on to the 5th grade. My daughter made Mastery and Basic and my stepson made Basic/approching basic..So thank god they both passed. My husband and I have been on pins and needles. Unfort. only 66% of the 4th graders pass it this year because the school system raised the standards on it.
