Does anyone know if once your mast cells are triggered they always are present in your bladder constantly their due to inflammation, histamine release...I read one of the lectures Jill has under mast cells, that said they are triggered for different reasons and one is allergies or due to damage done by something in the bladder..In my case for 3 years living in san diego ca I had bad allergies causing me problems to breathe and facial flushing (rosacea) along with major stress and having to take doxycycline for 8 mos for rosacea cause my dermatologist thought it was an enzyme in my system that needed to be balanced out with the doxycycline, when all the time it was my enviroment in california...Now I live in washington dc with no allergies! but still in my opinion mast cell damage to my lining....and in my opinion, reoccurring inflammation no matter how much elmiron I take because the mast cells ate away my lining, acting like meat tenderizer (like in jills lecture notes) and then ontop of that still excessively present due to the original activation and constant inflammation???????? I am on atarax 25mg a nite I am thinking it's not enough , or will my efforts and torturous drunken days be for nothing because the mast cells will never go away not letting my bladder heal again?????:help::rant::rant:
