Just had a thought!! ( rare for me Lol)
I was diagnosed with DSP ( split pubic bone) in 93 during 3rd pregnancy as a result i had a C section and then another during the 4th baby.
they said it would correct itself after the births but it didnt go back into place correctly and i was left "lopsided" so since then have had pelvic inflammation , BUT on talking to others with this condition we are wondering if a link could be made with "pelvic imflammation being a trigger to start off IC??
I was awarded DLA care and mobility to start with at the begining. had an 18 month fight to get it as like IC it was poorly knowledge by most Gps and so i had to educated them at my tribunal, luckily i had a great physio who helped me explain it all. After 2 years they took the care componant away but i still get the mobility side.
Am seriously considering having to come out of work and maybe claiming the care again, My heart and head want to work but my body keeps letting me down what with kidneys/IC/and pelvis i just feel quite debilitated.
