Hi,
I was diagnosed with IC about a year ago and since then have been prerry much symptom free with detrusitol 4mg and 20mg amitriptyline at night and following the IC diet. I have had a few flares which were so bad that they kept me from work.
Im planning to TTC in the next few months, last time i seen my uro i mentioned this and she said that she wanted to keep me on my meds but just change them since i cant handle the flares. I dont have another appointment with her for 6 months and she said i could see my regular doctor about changing my meds.
Has anyone been in a similar situation where they have changed their meds to ones that might not be as dangerous to take whilst TTC and during pregancy?
