Does anyone here have bloodwork done while on elavil? I've read a couple things about it effecting your liver. Is this something my doctor should be monitoring?

Any help would be appreciated -

You may be thinking of Elmiron. That is the med docs recommend getting a liver panel every 6-12 months if you're taking it.

Seems like I have read something about keeping a check on it too, but I can't remember where I read it. Anyway, it might be a good idea to have your doctor monitor you by having bloodwork done every 3-6 months or so, simply because you are taking the med long term. Please talk with him about your concerns and see what he recommends.
