Hi Everyone,
I started taking quercetin & bromelain 2 days ago. I didn't notice any ill effects the first day, but the second day I seemed to be peeing even more than usual, especially during the night! Is this a normal reaction to quercetin/bromelain, or am I having a flare?

I suggest you stop taking it for a few days to see if the flare goes away --- you can always try it again --- and if you have a flare again, you will have your answer.
Sending healing thoughts,

I take these and have had no flares from them. They have anti-inflammatory properties, so I don't think they should cause a flare. Sometimes they contain vitamin C which could cause a flare. Check the bottle and make sure it doesn't.

The Bromelin is probaly causing you to flare. I believe that it is an enzyme or something that comes from pineapple. and alot of citrus fruits make IC bladders flare. it might be the case for you also. You might want to try a straight quercitin product with nothing else

I've read on the forum that some people flare from Quercetin as well as Bromelain. Once again, supplements always affect people differently. I tried Cysta-Q (has Quercetin in it) and felt worse.

Funny enough, Quercetin has made me flare but when I tried Bromelein in the past it actually helped. We are all different.
