I have had my worst IC year ever this year and apparently it has been a very bad year for allergies down here. Has this happened to anyone else? I have only been in TX for two years.

I moved to texas a year ago, tomorrow. I agree that allergie triggers have been extra bad this year opposed to last at this time. I also have had a horrible year. I just got diganosed with IC in March. So still dealing with that and trying to figure it all out. It throughs curve balls constantly. I had an apartment fire, neighbor caused it, lost everything I own. And a few other things that I dont want to go into. But hopefully the rest of 2010, is better than the first half. Hoping hte light is at the end of the tunnel.

Hope your year gets better!

This past school year was horribly stressful.

And we had tons of rain this spring which made everything grow more & produce more pollen....

Throughout the spring, I had increasing amounts of microscopic blood in my urine, which I didn't have in the six years prior with IC. Is it stress or allergy? Can't tell, so am just trying to relax, recover, & get back to "normal"....

Yes, the IC and allergies were and are terrible. I live in CA and we've had a very high amount of pollen in the air. I hope things get better for you! I take Children's Benadryl in the liquid form. I seems to help my allergies and it's easy to control the dose so I don't get too sleepy.
The IC is another thing I am on daily meds for - well just pain killers because nothing else has helped. I injured my back a while ago and haven't gone to the Dr. It has been hurting a lot.
I can't imagine going through a fire and losing everything. I feel like it's bad enough I am paying a huge mortgage and it's still on an interest only loan. I hope our economy gets better soon!!!!

Yes! This has been a VERY bad year. I've been having flares every month or so!

Yes, my doctor actually said I should leave town to get out of this flare!! The pollen count has been very high causing lots of pain. AND Spring has not even started and that makes me anxious!!
