I am on SS and found out by some miracle I guess that my student loans could be forgiven if I am disabled. We looked into that and went through the process and not only are they being forgiven but the part we have already payed since I quit working I believe we are getting back.
I have no idea if this information is common knowledge to everyone...or if it is different in other states.....but if it can help someone (it certainly helps me lol) all the better.:)
