Today or really yesterday it's kind of past midnight, I had my third dmso treatment. I didn't feel all the well going into it at all. the Cathater hurt more then the other two times. the half an hour seemed like it was five hours..and I couldn't hold it any longer. I had to take a nap after I came home..I couldn't even speak when I was driving home..died silence. Can stress made this happen? I just hope it still makes me feel better for the next five days, like it's been.

I'm sorry you had a nasty experience with your DMSO... :grouphug:

Sometimes mine are okay, and sometimes they hurt like crazy. I started the treatments again yesterday after a three week break, and was flaring badly when I went in- the catheter and the DMSO hurt like crazy as a result. I find it ALWAYS hurts worse if you're already flaring, so if it helps, it sounds like your increased pain yesterday was fairly normal, since you say you were not feeling well to start with.

I'm sorry it happened to you too, and I hope you feel better soon :)

I always took a nap after my treatments. Usually I had an ice pack betweeen mt legs & alternated to the bladder. I hope it feels better soon & the DMSO does it's job to make you feel better for a long time. Hugs, Kathi:pray:

I never plan on doing much on DMSO day. But it seems to work for me so it's worth it.

I hope you feel better this morning.

:grouphug: I do hope it helps you I don't know what i would do without mine but when i have an infection i'm not suppoe to take one but that is the only thing right now that is helping me some it seems like my pain medicine is making me sick its 90 degrees here and i'm stuck with a heating pad. I have another nasty painful UTI. I wish they could find something that would stop this.
sending you hugs and prayers

Kiyoka,

I am so sorry you had to have a DMSO installation the day before your final in For. Criminology ?? Did I get it right?
I hope your class test went well and the pain that you have will go away quicker with each treatment.
I love you darlin' ! Cannot wait to hear from you again.
Please know I am there for you when ever where ever, like good friends, were stuck like glue now! (even if it is crazy glue) LOL!!
I hope this finds you feeling better!
Hugs
