I've noticed over doing car travel sends me into a bad flare. I have four kids so it's hard to avoid some travel.(Going to the grocery store, church doctor visits etc.) Any suggestions?

I had a terrible time in the car in the beginning. Once I started physical therapy for my pelvic floor, I had little problem. Now it only bothers me if I'm flaring. Maybe you could try PT?

My IC pillow is a huge help in the car for long trips.

When driving, I always use an IC pillow, plus a soft folded scarf under my tummy seat belt to keep it from pressing into my bladder, but not stopping it from working if I need it to!

Another seat belt tip: Pull your shoulder belt out so it's loose, then clip a spring-loaded clothespin next to where the belt comes out of the bracket above your shoulder. The clothespin will keep the belt from being too tight, but if you were in an accident, it will pop off so the seat belt will do its job.

Thanks for your help.
Dr. appointments are the longest trips I'm willing to risk until I'm feeling better. I'm sure it would be easier if we didn't live on a bumpy country road. I'm just starting over after a year in remission. (It was wonderful)
Thanks again for the ideas.

The pillow available in the ICN Shop is especially good for rough roads.
