Physician List Updated

Hi,
Just wanted to mention that my uro here in Jacksonville Florida is wonderful and very sympathetic to IC. I went to him as a refferal from GYN to discuss bladder sling along with my recto and cysto repair that is going to be done on June 25th. He spent a lot of time discussing my symptoms and then set up the pre surgery tests required by insurance. The first test was scheduled and when I went for the test he was not able to complete because the pain was so severe when he started filling my bladder He stopped the test and had his nurse schedule me for the distention. I did not see him until a week after but he gave my boyfriend the pictures of my bladder and wrote down all the info on IC and directed me to this website. He also started me on Elmiron, Elavil & Hydro/Co
When I saw him the next week he said that he suspected that I had a very bad bladder during the first procedure and at that time suspected IC. Anyway I just wanted to mention him because he is not on this list. Dr. Swartz is in Jacksonville and is wonderful and very up on treatments. You may want to add him to the list.

I defininately would suggest others to go see him. He is a specialist in IC and other female problems, such as Endometriosis. His clinic now does lot of procedures right in the office. They are wonderful!! Tina performed my Pottasium test in the office.

I noticed there are NO doctors on the Tennessee part of the list in the Memphis area--- just Knoxville and Nashville. I would love to add my doctor to the list if possible because he is very knowledgeable about IC and he is a very, very sweet and compassionate man as well! He is also on the ICA's physician listings for TN, so maybe it would be good to put him on the ICN's too.
