I found out that I do not have Interstitial Cystitis or Pelvic Floor Disorder. I spent many months on this website trying to figure out what was wrong with me. I later found out that all of my symptoms were being caused by Premarin Cream. When I accidently stopped using the Premarin Cream, three weeks later all my horrible symptoms of IC were GONE. I had been to about ten specialists, and not one asked me if I was using this awful cream. One even told me to use it MORE OFTEN. The good news is that i am aLL BETTER SINCE I STOPPED USING IT.

The bad sad news is that a wonderful medical student who i met on this site passed away this week. Her name was Alyssa. On the site she used a name like born 2 swim or something of that nature. During my time of pain, Alyssa tried to help me writing me pages and pages of emails. She wanted to be a Dr. so that she could help people with IC. Sadly she passed away suddenly before she could finish medical school. Alyssa was the sweetest most caring young woman, and I thought others on this site who knew her might want to know. I am so glad that all your symptoms stopped once you stopped that cream. Wow, who would have thought. Were your symptoms the same as IC?

Yes, that is so sad to have such a young person with amibitions of helping others with IC pass away. It is truly tragic. I am glad you got to know her and that she reached out to you.

You should stay on this site to offer hope to others. Many others may be using that cream and having the same issues. You could help alot. Just by telling your story you gave me some hope too.

How awful that Alyssa passed away. I'm sure she would have been a wonderful and caring doctor.

I've been using Estrace Cream for 2 years now. I was having UTI's every couple of weeks until I started using the cream. I've only had one UTI since then, and it was when I tried to cut back the dose.

I am glad you do noth have IC. I am glad you got the chance to know Alysa, that was a terrible thing that has happened to her, may god be with her family at this time.
