Oh no...

Here we go again... I feel a flare coming on... *SIGH*

The "gotta go, gotta go right NOW" feeling has started, and the pain is increasing. I just dashed to the bathroom, peed a few tablespoons, stood up... and already felt like I had to go again. AGGH!!! I hate that. So I sat down again, but of course, nothing would come out. So I stood up again, still felt like I had to go.. the other ladies in the bathroom probably thought I was nuts :rolleyes:

I wonder what I ate this time...

I hope it's not the beginning of another UTI...

It must be the day, because I am flaring too. I am sorry you are and sorry that Kelly has a UTI. I figured out for me it is probably the seasoning we had on chicken yesterday or my period getting ready to start.

I have just started to flare in a really big way too. Can you catch flares via cyberspace??????:confused: I haven't don't anything that I can think of that would be causing this one. And it is getting worse.........

i'm flareing a small bit nothing major right now but i know i have another uti i just don't want to go to the doctor i'm sick of running back and forth to him ever few weeks I love him he has helped me more then anyone with my ic BUT I don't want to see his rn and say oh no here she comes again. exp that head RN in the office.
I know i have to go if i don't I will be in a major flare.

Thanks for the support... I'm not happy others are flaring, but in a weird way, it's comforting to know I'm not the only one in pain tonight... let's lean on each other :)

Jolene... I'm thinking it was the chicken WE had last night too!! How eerie!! It looked inocuous enough, and I tried not to eat the seasoned skin part (just the white meat underneath), but it is possible that I still got enough of something to cause a flare...

Kelly... I hope the antibiotics kick in real fast and you are feeling better soon!!

Gypsyjoy, I am sorry to hear you are in the boat with the rest of us!!! You are so right... it does suck...

Rhonda... arrgh... NOT another UTI for you!!!! :( I have an appointment with my uro on Wednesday. We will see at that point if I too have another UTI or not ( I just had one 2 weeks ago!!!) Get yourself to your doc!! You need to have that UTI treated. I know how awful it is to keep getting them.

Well, I think we have a quorum --- my flare started this morning, but is some better this evening. Today was my volunteer afternoon at the library and I think the quiet time there really helped me feel better. Mine is because I did too much yesterday --- it was so beautiful outdoors that we spent many hours working in the yard. I know better, but did it anyhow.

Tomorrow is another day at least and I hope we'll all feel better by then.

Must of been the IC karma--I think I am in the worst flaire I have ever had and I don''t know what to do...Yes I have meds,and they worikpretty but it hurts to sit, it hurts to stand, it hurts to poo, it hurts to pee and I don't know what to do. All of the lymph nodes on the left side of my body are huge. I can't move my neck, its hard to lift Lindsey. My butt is raw from the explosive diarrhea and the nodes are so large I have trouble lifting my legs. Did I point out where my liver and spleen are are exquesitely tender--but no even paid any attention.Drew some labs. gave me some pain meds and patted me on the head and sent me away all in about the course of an hour. I gave them my docs phone number but they said "I don't want to get involved" and I'm one of their old nurses:toosh: I feel like my body is deterioationg by the hour and Idon't know why. I am so scared. Thanks for listening guys.

Barb!!! :grouphug: SO sorry to hear that you are feeling so bad!!!! I hope you either get better, or are able to find out what is wrong...

Well, my flare continues today. My commute to work sucked ... I stopped to pee midway through the 20 minute commute, and then as soon as I got back in the car, I felt like I had to go again. Grrr.... :mad: I HATE that. Plus, I'm cramping. I felt like screaming this morning!!!!!!!!

I am also probably not going to get any better, as I have an appointment with the new gynecologist this afternoon. Oh, joy... a pelvic exam!!! BLAH. I was supposed to go Thursday, but the gyno has to go out of town. He called and asked if I'd like to come in today so he could see me before he leaves... I thought that was nice of him, but it's still annoying to have to put up with poking & prodding during a flare.

Well, tomorrow I see the uro, and we'll hopefully do an instill while I'm there, and often that clears up a flare for me.
