Have you checked out the Power Surge online support group? It is a great source of info and support on peri and menopause issues--lots of discussions about depression and anxiety which I think are all too common.

I went on ADs and BCPS for my mood issues caused by peri, but you will find lots of other ideas on those boards. It has been a great resource for me....

I hear ya & you are in my thoughts:angel:

I had the same problem until I got my hormones under control!! My issues started @ 27 years old.

There is hope, you gotta find where your imbalance is, there are 6 hormones that need to be tested & most general practioners & ob/gyn's go by what is known as a "range" & that doesn't apply to most of us unfortunately. I worked in a Compounding Pharmacy for 2 & 1/2 years & learned alot and my goodness no wonder most of us are a mess, we're being given the wrong doses of hormones for our individual needs, however this is how most doctors are taught to prescribe medications & it's scary!
