I am going to see one of my sons and family soon. He asked me how I would feel about taking the subway (our version in CA), "Just 2 stops." and he would pick me up from there and bring me to his house. :pray:I told him no right away. Yesterday I went to the dentist for 2 stops and it hurt IC. Also no bathrom there and a slow Sunday schedule. Well I can''t blame him for trying instead of picking me up here. The unpredictability of IC and aggrevation by travelling is something he doesn't get. It's all about setting boundaries. Today I would like to get something at a store not as close as some of them. And my limitation is no and more rest. Perhaps a small walk.

It makes life much easier when we have the courage to set some limits. Family may not understand completely, but they do learn to accept. Good for you!
