Is Elmiron Making Me Tired

I have been on Elmiron for over 4 months now. For the last 6 weeks I have been ABSOLUTELY exhausted everyday. My Dr. tells me it's the Elmiron but I can't find anything to support this especially since it started well over 2 months after starting Elmiron. Is anyone else exhausted w/ IC and/or does Elmiron make any of you tired?

I figured I would chime in on that one right quick. We have had other posts on here about Elmiron. (and hair loss and so forth) Ok. I don't have any side effects.(good) Also, I have not read about it causing tiredness, either. Oh! We have had threads about being more tired, too.(which I have chimed in on) It seems that many IC patients get tired easily. Oh! I happen to. I mean, I actually had major surgery on my neck on March 5th, but I have napped most every day since then. Ok. A nurse once said I was having chronic fatigue as well. The phsyciatrist does let me get some Provigil to use as needed because he was under the assumption that I was having shift work sleep disorder rather than chronic fatigue. Regardless, both are actual sleep disorder conditions. Ok. I am on medical leave, but the work shift is 6:00pm-2:00am.(and used to be 11:00-7:00 for me) By the way, I used to have sleep deprivation due to IC, but I actually stayed in bed at least 8 hours and feel like it could not have been more than 6 hours. Ok. It nearly kills me to make an 8 hours shift sometimes. Yep! You should get more replies as well.

I just looked at the potential side effects for elmiron and fatigue is not listed. If you are still feeling pain, that could be the cause of your being tired.
