I thought that play dough would really be the evilest thing to get, as Jake has so many sensory issues, Any type of activity he won't touch. We tried it a year ago and he acted like some one cut off his arm.
For Christmas someone got him star wars pay dough factory, and I had all the other assceories, like scissors, and shapes. one day in a desperate need of getting him to settle down my bp was 151/111 (those of you who don't know I had a heart attack Jan 31st. And have had a heart monitor on for 2 weeks, and have 2 weeks to go)
Anywho, I drug it all out, and prayed Savannah wouldn't eat it, my dogs wouldn't eat or it get embedded in their hair and the carpet. Jake sat at the table for hours playing with it. I was impressed and greatly relieved, the running stopped, the screaming and hitting stopped. I am glad I pulled it out of the cupboard. :woohoo:
