Yesterday I got the results of my pelvic MRI. No significant abnormalities were found except for a small cyst in the upper vaginal area. The doctor didn't seem concerned about that. He did tell me, however, something about my pelvic bones having an odd shape? :yikes: So he arranged for me to have a "KUB" which is an xray of the pelvic bones. Sometime in May, I will also be scheduled "finally" for a hydrodistention and bladder biopsy! For 4 1/2 years, I've been bouncing from doctor to doctor with IC symptoms without an official diagnosis of IC. It's about frickin' time! :cussing: The urologist also gave me some more Celebrex. It's not perfect but it does help reduce my bladder pain and that inflammed feeling inside so that my symptoms are more liveable.
So far this urologist is the best one I've seen. He is willing to try different things and he has a friendly demeanor. I hope and pray that I'm finally on the road to getting better.
