Hi, I'm a "newbie" I have not been diagnosed yet, but the doctor is 99.9% sure. He wants to do the Potassium test, but I am leary of that test. I have heard that it can be diagnosed with a sonogram. Does anyone know if that is true? The doctor has me on Hydrocodone which worked very well at 1st. As a matter of fact my symptoms went away for a few days, but last night they returned and now the meds don't seem to be working as well. I am also taking Hyzaar for my BP which contains a diaretic. Could that have anything to do with it? I hope someone can help me. I am at my wits end right now and very uncomfortable.
