Hello to everyone,
Well today is the 3rd day that im still waiting for my Dr. to call me and tell me what im suppos to do about the med he gave me which I can no longer take bec of my heart. I cant understand why he wont call me. I know he's busy but 3 days had passes and I know he's not that busy and I know he's not on vacation. Ive been thinking of taking my bladder to Stanford medical center and handing it over to them. I can just see my self walking in to the hosp. and actually handing my bladder overand saying
"here ya go YOU deal with it, I haver for 2 years"
I wich I could reach in a nd rip it out.Maybe they would put it in one of those glass jars and toss it on a shelf. Actually I should give it to my Dr. instead of Stanford. Does anyone live near Pallo Alto in California? If anyone does then maybe if I do go to stanford, me can meet somewhere. Well Imshould get goin and call Stanford. Im not one of those lucky ones that had DSL. I actually have to log off to use my stupid phone. bestof luck to everyone and have a wonderful day.

:toosh: When my IC was at its worst, I used to wish I could rip it out too. I feel for you. Hope you can find something that works. One of the most important things is to find a doc that will work with you. They may not have all the answers but finding a compassionate doc who is willing to listen to you is a Godsend.

Holiday... be aggressive... call the doctors office and tell them you are going to call every 15 min until you talk with the doc... then keep calling... plus you can tell them it is medical neglect and if anything happenyous to you, you'll hold him accountable.... I bet you talk to the doc today... good luck

I know exactly how you feel. I'm a newbie and this is my 1st post. Not sure if I am going to be much of a help, but I can encourage you to hang in there and keep calling your doctor and tell who ever answers the phone that you are not going to hang up until the doctor talks to you. 3 days is a little too long. Just know that I am thinking of you and am here to chat. just knowing that we are not alone helps sometimes.

What a butthead doc.:toosh: You deserve better than that. I agree, keep calling until you have made them crazy. Taking care of you is there job whether they like it or not, and as I am well aware as a nurse, I don't get paid if there are no patients to take care of. Let me know if you need me to jump in. I certainly will advocate for ya if you need me to.

Hugs and a  ,
Barb

hello to all,
Thanks for everyons advise. I did call my Doc. back and he didnt agree with what the ER Doc. said about my heart. I really hate most Docs. So now imoff all meds for my bladder and he wants me to start with the DMSO treatments . LUCKY ME! I cant afford the treatments now even with Blue Cross its still pretty costly. so I guess im going to just ride this one out. Oh by the way, the nurse at the office said he did return my call but he couldn't remember what day he called. Like I believe that one! Well I'mjust going to come here everyday and see how everyone is doing see if I can help in any way. you guys are so great and wonderful ppl and I want to Thank all of you frommy bottomof my heart. I dont know what I would do with out all of you.
thanks again,
Holiday

Thanks Sharon

Feeling a little better today. The pain has let up a little. I have been on a very bland diet since yesterday. Just Apple sauce and cottage cheese, chamomile tea. This morning I splurged and had a scrambled egg. I'm really praying that this gets better. My husband and I have been planning to go to Charleston this weekend. My nephew is in soccor and they are having a big game there this weekend. I have been so looking forward to it. It does help knowing someone is out there knowing exactly what you are going through and offering help and support.

God Bless You

ihs...

Sorry to be a downer but, there are some people here who have reported that apples are a no-no food for them. I hope the applesauce does not cause you any trouble. I usually take a Prelief or two when I decide that I just can't live unless I eat an apple.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend. Tell your nephew good luck for me. Take along a box of those sticky heat wrap pad things just in case you are having some bladder discomfort. You can find them at most grocery stores and drug stores. I have read many posts from people who use them and say that they help. :D
